What You’ll Learn

  • Manual J Load Calculation Fundamentals
    • Master the inputs that actually shape a load: assemblies, infiltration, windows, shading, ducts, internal gains, and room-by-room conditions.
  • Blower-Door–Assisted Air Leakage Identification
    • Learn how to spot and quantify leakage pathways that artificially inflate heating and cooling loads — and how they show up inside Conduit Tech.
  • Thermal Envelope Improvement Opportunities
    • Identify exactly where the building envelope can be upgraded (attic, ducts, infiltration, insulation defects, shading, wall/roof assemblies) to reduce the calculated load, not just “right-size” equipment.
  • Permanent Load Reduction Workflow
    • Use Conduit Tech to walk through a full home, showing how every envelope improvement directly reduces heating and cooling loads.
  • Communicate the Why Behind Your Recommendations
    • Explain your load logic and upgrade path clearly to builders, homeowners, raters, and project teams—using data instead of opinions.
  • Earn Your PLR Training Certificate
